Rome
The Eternal City is 150 km away from Palmo di Terra. During their vacation at our place, most of our guests choose to spend a day in Rome.
It is not necessary to drive a car, since every hour a regional train leaves from Albinia (12 km from our place) and arrives in the Capital in 1.5 hours.
You may decide to stop and visit St. Peter’s and walk in a few minutes to the Musei Vaticani, if you choose to stop in Roma Trastevere you can take the tram #8, in front of the railway station and stop at the bus terminal in Torre Argentina, behind
the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, from where you can walk among the most famous monuments of the city.
If you prefer to arrive at Roma Termini, two metro lines are available. In addition, in front of the station, you can take an open bus for theme-wise visits to the most extraordinary places of history. If you want to stop in Rome for a few days, you may find good deals in bed and breakfast accommodations or special hotels like Hotel Locarno, near Piazza del Popolo.
