The beautiful Orvieto is about a 1 hour and 20 min drive from Palm Earth. 

To visit in Orvieto is definitely the magnificent Cathedral and St. Patrick’s Well.

The St. Patrick’s Well is a work of clever engineering to reach the aquifer clay sources. 

Huge measures of cylindrical drilling – 54 meters deep, 13 in diameter – and really found the singular architecture of the double spiral ramp that allowed the beasts of burden used to transport water to not obstruct the two-way traffic along with the 248 steps; particularly striking, then, the 72 windows which allow to filter and play with shades of stone light.
